Annual Diner en Blanc in Singapore
Chab Event‘s milestone event of the year, Le Diner en Blanc Singapore 2017 took place at Resorts World Sentosa on Saturday with an attendance of over 1000 guests, all ready for a night of delicious food, comradery, and a roaring good time.
White outfits and secret location
Guests arrived at the “secret location” and started setting up from 6pm onwards, clad in fabulous all-white outfits. Not long after, Alexis, Guillaume and Jasmine from Chab Events kicked off the evening with the traditional napkin wave.
An incredible dinner for gourmets
Spirits were high during the dinner with many interesting dishes on display ranging from colourful tropical fruit to gourmet pasta and sandwiches while others celebrated the local culture with Singapore favourites, ice kacang and pepper crab!
To raise everyone’s spirits even higher, the incredibly energetic roving jazz band delighted diners with their funky tunes. After that, guests got up close and personal with all-white venetian stilt walkers.
LED-water drummers, Crane Dance and fireworks
Towards the end of the dinner, roving LED-water drummers pumped everyone up right before the big sparkler finale and spectacular fireworks display, during which everyone in attendance was treated to a very special surprise; the one and only, RWS-special Crane Dance!
New concept added to the edition : an amazing party !
Unlike previous Diner en Blanc editions, the festivities did not end after the fireworks. In fact, at that point in time the party had only just started! Our DJ kicked off the after-party immediately after the fireworks display and blasted crowd-pleasing tunes till well past midnight.
More than half the diners stayed on to dance the night away and commemorate the magical night at the photo booth. We also opened up a buffet line during the after-party to keep everyone energized till the very end of the night.
The pure joy on everyone’s faces and the great feedback received made the months of tedious planning, logistical challenges, and 18 hours of exhausting set-up and tear-down by our Chab Events team all worth it.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the contribution of our amazing partners Fizzy Events and Airstar, our sponsors Perrier, Perrier Jouet, RWS, and not forgetting all the volunteers, bus leaders and every single guest who made the night a huge success!
